We Believe Celebrations Matter!

When communities see that their work and contribution to the fabric that makes us unique is having a direct impact on the success of us all, it motivates and encourages them even on the most challenging days. Celebrating milestones and achievements reminds us all that, not only do each of us play a valued role in the future of the Atmore Area but that each of us is also contributing meaningful work to Atmores’ today and its purpose-driven desire for a brighter tomorrow.

RIBBON CUTTINGS
Whether you are opening a new business, expanding at your current location, relocating, or celebrating a milestone anniversary ribbon-cutting can be a fun and important component of your marketing plan!

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
Winning a BOTM Award is a great way to showcase your business achievements and celebrate your hard work, brilliance, and innovation. Each month the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce selects winners from the Atmore Area business community recognizing their contribution to our amazing community.

CITIZEN OF THE YEAR- 2024 Lillie Johnson
The Citizen of the Year Award is a very special honor given each year at our Chamber Gala meant to recognize individuals, not for a particular year of volunteer service, but rather recognize a person who has performed outstanding and dedicated volunteer service to the community and/or towards helping others over time separate from their employment responsibilities. It may be presented to living persons or posthumously. This award differs in that the recipients are individuals whose service to the community has been so significant in civic, economic development, political, educational, and/or religious activities over a sustained period of time that the history of the Atmore Area could not be written reasonably without their inclusion.
