Leadership

Chamber leadership programs prioritize creating spaces where diverse perspectives can come together to learn, grow, and push our community forward.

What is Leadership Atmore?

Leadership Atmore logoLeadership Atmore was founded in 1993 and was modeled after other leadership programs throughout the state. This program of the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce is designed to identify and develop the leadership potential in our community. Each class brings together individual local leaders and reflects the diversity of our community. This diversity, in both backgrounds and experiences, greatly enhances the “leadership experience” while building a network of informed citizens who share a common bond.

What is Chamber Ambassadors?

The Youth Ambassador Program is a volunteer program at our Chamber. You will represent the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce in our community and at Chamber-sponsored events. The Ambassadors are a group of qualifying dedicated high school junior and senior volunteers from each high school throughout the Atmore area. Their mission is to act as goodwill representatives at Chamber functions and aid in the support of Chamber members. Chamber Ambassadors is also to prepare and build leadership within the students selected.  Our goals are to motivate and provide participants with personal growth opportunities and leadership training while learning first-hand how our community works and how leadership can make a difference.

There’s a leader in all of us and leadership programs give you the tools to build your problem solving, team building and management skills and recognize your potential while offering amazing and collaborative learning opportunities. For more information on our programs please contact the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce at (251) 368-3305 or e-mail us at Director@AtmoreChamber.com.
