It is an honor to be your Atmore Area Chamber President for 2024. Thank you to David Dobson for all you have done for the Chamber and Atmore during 2023. The past several presidents have been outstanding, and I hope to do the same during my time as President.

Thank you to the Chamber staff for your continuous hard work and dedication to Atmore; I also need to thank our 2024 Trustees for all your support.

Atmore is continuing to grow with new businesses and opportunities. Last year, The Encore opened its doors after a lengthy construction period. This business is growing right before our eyes and providing a new rental venue, a movie theater, and other opportunities to come in 2024.

As I serve on many boards in Atmore, I see this community's growth and great connections. Atmore Chamber is a huge part of the community by giving back to Atmore, whether it's the schools or other organizations. We strive to do our best and help where we can when needed.

One program that also gives back to the community and is very close to my heart is Leadership Atmore. This program is designed to provide more knowledge of Atmore and the businesses and industries in the area. In 2017, I became the program coordinator, and with the help of some amazing session leaders, the program is better than ever. Each class thoroughly enjoys it and giving back to Atmore through class projects. If you ever thought about wanting to join Leadership Atmore, you should. You will not regret it.

Our board of directors also works hard each year to provide and serve the Atmore community. Each person is dedicated to the community and its future. As we enter 2024, I encourage you to visit The Atmore Chamber to meet our new staff and let us know how we are doing. Let us know what we can do to help you or how we can give more to Atmore.

As your 2024 President, I promise to do my best for the Atmore community and businesses. I promise to help anywhere I am needed and continue to give back to our growing community. Let's all come together in 2024 and make Atmore a place everyone wants to visit, shop, and live. Let's paint 2024 colorful bright.
