Atmore Area Chamber Foundation
The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the official formation of the Atmore Area Chamber Foundation, Inc. Established in May of 2020, The Atmore Area Chamber Foundation, Inc. is the nonprofit, community development affiliate of the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce. The Atmore Area Chamber Foundation is purposed to promote and support educational activities within the community, and to promote economic development. The Foundation received its 501c3 status from the Internal Revenue Service on April 4, 2022. The goal of the Atmore Area Chamber Foundation is to make the Atmore Area community a better place for all to live, work, play and invest. By charitable giving the Atmore Area Chamber Foundation will provide another vehicle to connect the best business minds with the community’s most innovative thinkers working together to help solve important community challenges. We hope to underwrite civic, cultural, and educational programs in addition to provide emergency through fund raising and grant writing resources that are only available to foundations. The AACC Foundation Inc. will create, promote and develop the economic, civic, cultural and social welfare of the citizens of the Atmore Area through placemaking projects and community arts and entertainment programs, according to a news release from the Chamber. The AACC Foundation will actively solicit funds to support these activities.
